Central Provident Fund – Introduction

We have five pension funds registered as investment instruments for the Provident Scheme under Law no. 7/2017 “Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund System”, and clients, after setting up the Provident Scheme, may invest into one or more of those five pension funds according to their risk appetite.

Under the Non-Mandatory Central Provident Fund System, there are two types of schemes:

JOINT PROVIDENT FUND SCHEME

INDIVIDUAL PROVIDENT FUND SCHEME

If you are the Employer, and want to set up a retirement plan for your employees, you will need to set up a Joint Provident Fund Scheme.
