COVID-19 Vaccine Insurance

Fidelidade Macau – Insurance Company Limited has been selected by the Macao SAR Government to provide insurance coverage for possible adverse reactions/side effects of the COVID-19 vaccines under the “COVID-19 Vaccination Programme of the Macao SAR Government” (“Programme”). 

This insurance covers persons who receive the COVID-19 vaccines under the Programme of the Health Bureau:

► Insured persons: Individuals who receive COVID-19 vaccines in accordance with the Guidelines of the Health Bureau.

► Coverage:

⦿  If an insured person either dies, or suffers from Total Permanent Disability, due to adverse reactions or side effects after receiving the vaccine under the programme, the maximum sum insured amount per person is MOP 1,000,000.00. 

⦿  Coverage will be 90 days after each vaccination for COVID-19.
