MACAO, December 23, 2020 – Fidelidade Macau has donated hundreds of sets of food supplies to Caritas Macau to support their food sharing program, very active right now, distributing goods to the most needed ones, especially migrant workers who became unemployed and can’t return to their home country due to current restrictions in place caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
This was a joint effort within the Company following the commitment made last September at 2020 B2RUN (World's leading Corporate Running Series), where Fidelidade Macau selected Caritas Macau as the NGO to donate all the raised amounts, gained by each employee efforts and performance during the race period. The amount raised was converted into food supplies for this donation.
Fidelidade Executive Committee and the B2Run participants, gathered at the Organization’s Head Office with Mr. Paul Pun, Secretary General of Caritas Macau to capture this moment, and express its corporate social responsibility commitment with the Macao society.
The CEO of Fidelidade Macau, Mr. Paulo Barbosa referred that the company is pleased to leverage Caritas’s Macau social work once again and recognized the association activity as fundamental for the ones in need in the region.
