[CSR] Fidelidade joined forces with BNU to support the 2022 Charity Run of Caritas Macau
Macao, October 31, 2022 – Yesterday, Fidelidade Macau (“Fidelidade”) alongside its partner Banco Nacional Ultramarino (“BNU”), joined forces to sponsor the 2022 Charity Run of Caritas Macau, offering all participants sports towels to help them during their run.
The sponsorship to this virtual running activity was shared by both companies and follows Fidelidade’s commitment and social responsibility towards the Macao society and mean to strengthen the long-lasting partnership between these two major companies from this region financial sector.
Due to the precautionary measures of the Government, the activity was held in the form of virtual running. Fidelidade employees who volunteer to participate at this activity enrolled to all types of running challenge themselves: Challenge Run (10 km), Healthy Run (5 km) and Easy Run (2 km). Once their challenge was completed the volunteers gathered at the Nam Van Anim' Arte area to mark the moment with a group photo, bringing together all runners from both companies, alongside its main representatives: Mr. Ivan Cheung Executive Director of Fidelidade and Mr. Sam Tou, Executive Director of BNU accompanied by Mr. Pun Chi Meng, Executive Director of Caritas Macau.
Fidelidade is pleased to continue supporting Caritas Macau, as one of the biggest local organizations to provide social services to those in need in the local society, sserving the region for decades, currently with an even higher responsibility to support families in need impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
