[CSR] Fidelidade donates food supplies to Caritas Macau
Macao, March 30,2022 – Today Fidelidade Macau – Insurance Company Limited (“Fidelidade”) has donated food supplies to Caritas Macau (“Caritas”) keeping its corporate social responsibility commitment, supporting a Macao non-governmental organization with a very recognizable social work towards the most vulnerable in our communities.
In the current world economic environment, also in Macao many are in need of immediate assistance in basic necessities, being food the most important one. Caritas Macau has been doing a very honorable work distributing goods to these families, so that they can feed themselves and their households with healthy and nutritious meals. However, as a non-governmental organization, Caritas needs support.
Aware of this situation, Fidelidade decided to offer and prepare a specific food set, with cooking oil, rice, canned food and noodles to be distributed to the needy families, assuring that all donated goods are safe and high quality.
Fidelidade Executive Committee, gathered at the organization’s head office with Mr. Paul Pun, Secretary General of Caritas Macau to capture this moment, and express its commitment with the Macao society, especially to those who need most.
